Plastering Course (4 Day)

This course is specifically designed for people looking to learn the skill of plastering, but have little or no experience. People from within the construction industry i.e. Painters, Decorators, Electricians, Plumbers or people wishing to tackle home improvement projects, will also benefit greatly from this course.


We will teach the correct method of cutting and fixing plasterboard, and preparation of surfaces, in readiness to receive backing plasters, sand/cement, and other Gypsum based plasters (the application of plaster to damp-proofed areas, silicon injected, Bitumen based products).





How to cut and apply angle beads to form external corners, window reviels and stop & drip beads.
How to apply finishing plaster to backing coats, sand/cement, plasterboard etc.
How to re-plaster existing walls to achieve a flat level surface ready for decoration.

This course gives you all the information needed, to start a career, with confidence in the plastering trade, and can be used as a very good induction into the NVQ/ICA Awards.

Certification for this course can be used towards N.V.Q. units VR01, VR03, VR62, VR65, VR66, VR68, VR69 and VR71.
